Not hardly, it was A/T.

Tires typically dry rot on me every 3yrs. Humidity and heat kills them super fast. I only put about 3,000 miles a year on my personal car. Wife gets about 10,000 miles a year

You just push the clutch in and hold the Start button. No brake action
I bought a stick shift! No slushbox for me in a sports car. When I turn the ESP fully off she'll lay sideways in 1st and 2nd when rolling and you floor it. Crap tires! 3rd can be interesting depending on road surface

Meh, black. Not really impressed with the choice in wheels either. That little wing is kinda pathetic. The car as a whole really isn't that impressive....... OK I GIVE! I WANT ONE TOO!!! Looks sweet man Still can't believe you thought about letting the X go to those crooks though, shame... SHAME!

Nice choice, I really like the LX platform. My grandmas '06 Hemi 300C has been an awesome car with 2 very minor issues in 48k miles and almost 9 years.

No, you don't. They are a sweet looking car, but fat as hell. Over 4120lbs. We had a dyno day at school a few weeks ago and Johnny rolled his 6.1 SRT8 Challenger, it pulled a whopping 352rwhp with intake, tune, and exhaust. For comparison, the new Coyote 5.0 that rolled up with just an exhaust, intake, and tune laid out 422rwhp through an auto box.

Good work getting all the big 3. There's so many good cars now from the big 3 and beyond it's sad that anyone gets worked into needing cars from only one brand.

Odd

5.7 consistently puts down 330-340 RWHP
6.1 consistently puts down 390-400 RWHP
6.4 consistently puts down 420-440 RWHP

Dynojets Dyno put the lower numbers, Mustang Dyno higher

Bone stock motors, baseline pulls. Same results whether done by major Magazines or private owners. Auto/Stick make almost exact same RWHP, enough that the difference is negligible.

I'm a longtime Mustang fan/Owner. But I don't let that cloud my eyes to facts. Here is my old Baby. 2009 Bullitt

Facts? Who needs facts?

The Charger is a nice car, I think any of us would be happy with the power the 5.7L makes. Yeah the Mustang is faster, but is that really going to matter to anyone NOT on the drag strip?

Looks like on the K&N dyno the Charger puts down around 340 HP and the 5.0L Mustang around 380.

As per Motor Trend:

Chllenger R/T - 13.5 @ 105.9 MPH
2011 Dodge Challenger R/T first test - Motor Trend All Pages

Mustang GT - 12.7 @ 111.6 MPH
2011 BMW M3 Coupe vs. 2011 Ford Mustang GT Comparison - Motor Trend

But if you're not on the drag strip who's gonna care? I'd be happy in a Challenger. Even happier in a Charger with a real back seat.

13s isn't nearly as much fun on the street as a car that runs 12s

Trust me on that one!

Just stating what printed on the screen. It's a non-impedance style dyno, no idea the brand although it's known to print slightly lower numbers so Tylus is on to something.
Also found out that dip**** ran his car with the nitrous tune while NA so he was 5* retarded on the timing map, timing can make or break for sure. That said, on bottle the best printed was 477hp - not a huge hit, just something to play with.

Still given everything out there currently for domestic muscle/pony cars, I'd pick a Challenger if I could fit comfortably. Hate the 5th-gen Camaro's and Mustangs just aren't my thing.

Bah who am I kidding, I'll pick the Chevelle every time
