Gas tank questions

So im looking at getting the 1980 gmc suburban gas tank for my 68 ford f100. It should fit between the frame with out any cutting. I was wondering what you guys did for the sending unit to get it to work with the stock gas gauge. And if you needed to add a vent and return line to it. I plan on running this in my truck and i have the atomic efi system which needs the return line. I have a mustang gas tank but i dont want to cut up the frame for it to work.

Yer installing that tank under the bed, right? Then yer gonna run into a crossmember. A better option is a side.fill tank from a 72-80 Scout.... that huge top fill neck on that bowtie tank is gonna requre some extensive clearancing and the tank is gonna hang real low.

I'm running the E-street EFI.... it's sweet.

Best way to solve the sending unit issue would probably get a universal one or try to use the stock one and modify it to work
