RV Cam and dong feng xoi ha roller rocker arms

i've got a stock 360, bored out 060 (it was 040, with a sleeve in one cylinder), with 030 mains and rod bearings due to a numnut smashing rod bolts into the 020 ground crank (me). Have a weiand stealth manifold, edelbrock 600 cfm carb, double timing chain and a nice set of headers for it. thinking now of putting a RV cam in it

For now, the Melling MT-4 is what I'm looking at - a mild RV cam. I've read some 10 year old posts on FT trashing that cam, but the specs look pretty normal for a mild RV cam and for the price....I can get it for 65 bucks new, in an old box

Any comments on this/serious problems anyone has had?. This truck will be a daily beater, with a bit of towing, nothing more. Just want a decent motor under the hood of my 75 camper special.

AS an aside- I have an set of aluminum roller rocker arms I got from someone- unknown brand. Other than the hassle of figuring out pushrod lengths, and considering I'm not going to the racetrack or pulling more than a load of gravel or a boat now and then, anyone see problems with this ? I've heard these el cheapos break- but I'm not putting it in a mustang and running 7000 rpm. Mostly just driving to work or 100 miles to the lake and back. could take it or leave it, just figured If I got it, might as well try it out - but figuring out pushrod length, ugh, it is much easier to just go with stocks and run the old shaft and arms. With hydralic lifters, it really doesn't matter if I go with 9.59 or + 9.62 or - 9.6x in my opinion, the lift on the lifters is more than what those pushrods adjust from what I've figured (and that is often wrong)

Can't comment on the cam... but would use stock rockers vs no name aluminum. Stock steel should be durable and work fine with a moderate cam and matching springs. The budget aluminum can have fatigue and breakage issues.

Those are not enough specs to know how well the cam will perform.

As said above, for what u r doing I would recommend the stock rockers.

Seems pretty mild.

OP, this should be degreed in and checked so you know what you are getting and know things are happening when they should. Good luck with what ever you choose.
