You got me beat on the vehicle count, I only have 9 trucks, 3 cars and 1 garden tractor. But I have more than 3 yard sticks. Here's a couple of my faves. One is from a Ford dealer from 1969, one from a defunct lumber yard, and one from an oil company that's so old it has letters in the phone number, and a street name that doesn't exist in my town anymore. It's been changed at some point before I was born.

Sorry i never saw your original question.
I would say go with the 3 speed. You can always swap a c4 in later if you wanted to change.
You can always hack your crossmember anytime you want but may be a bit more work to fix the hacked crossmember if you decide to go back to the 3 speed.

Scott.
Ive currently got 11 trucks. 48 to 53. Was 12 last week but parted one out and most all the parts are gone
So you've got me beat.

One runs drives.
Two are all taken apart.
Two are future projects the f2 and f3 mh
3 parts trucks
1 coe to sell or build someday
1 f3 stakbed should run.
1 49 f1 stakbed with 0BAS v8. Just picked up last week

Got my eye on a few more for when i need my next fix.

I was sitting in Mrs Harrison's 5th grade class about 45 years ago &
she had (3) yardsticks taped together for whacking people who needed encouragement. She would walk up & down the aisles between our desks & you would just pray it wasn't your turn. I remember like it was yesterday - she walked past me & then turned & wailed on Erasmus sitting right beside me. I thought I was a goner - it broke into 3 pieces on poor Erasmus. I've always been very impressed with yardsticks.

5th Grade at Estes Hills Elementary in Chapel Hill, NC. We moved to a more enlightened Austin TX soon after.

Someone brought up yardsticks....

If you were there that late, you may have been their last customer. I thought they all folded up before then. Ernst, Pay n Pak, they're all gone. They all closed up before the big box giants moved in. I think they were scared.

We went to see the last Hobbit movie. It was terrible.

I read the book multiple times in the 70s, and the movies, as so often happens, stray far from the original story line. There was no love affair between a dwarf and an elf in the original.

You got her a pair of dining table leaves? That's an odd gift.

The poorly written topic was about my 50 F-1

I cant decide what transmission to run.

302 + 1950 3 speed
302 + C-4
How did your 50 end up with a manure spreader grille and a 51 hood?

F one:
Best you ask again in a new topic, this one is about to get quite silly.

For best response put truck model in topic name and short subject of your question. A question mark at the end helps indicate it's a question looking for an answer. ex: Tranny choice for 302 in F1?

Wow you guys are bored. Ready to head back south and pulling the 56 . Dad is ready for a cruise to Key west and have to do a few things to his 56 before the trip. Dad has about 5-6 yard sticks. I have maybe 3. One is from Ford dealer in Canfield.
Merry Christmas to everybody.

The big, um....rooster she's always wanted?

Also, only 7 of my trucks are 47-53, but the rest are Fords too!

Funny stuff!

Speaking of weather I just put my shorts and t-shirt on and the Fam and I are headed to Bush Gardens for the day. Probably 68 outside right now.
