Am I the only guy here who doesn't know who Lisa is?
And how do you get yourself on the "map"... I couldn't see any way of doing it.

Might be able to help somebody some day. I have a trailer, and a few 6.0 skills. Basic skills to be sure, but I am a stubborn SOB, and what I lack in knowledge I make up for in bull headedness.

John,
The how to get on the map is easy. You have to PM me with any email address that you
have used with any of the google services that also includes Youtube. I use that address
to send you an invite to drop a pin on the map.
One thing I recommend is not to place it right at you home. You don't want people
that are not invited to just show up. Most use the local town or city. Works well that way.

It's been a rush to get her home by Xmas,, but I've got a couple more videos.

Those were taken last night,, we already have the updated tanks at the shop. Midwest radiator had the midship tank!!! They always have the aft axle one but I was worried about the mid one. I'm on my way to get the heads too. I have a set at the machine shop that were in progress. They are not hers,,, but the weekend and Xmas will make it tough to get hers remanned in time. She would have to fly home for Xmas if we wait on hers. What are your thoughts on swapping heads?? I have been on the fence about it. It definately saves time. Road builders pressure checks, magnaflux, valve job and surface and all seals. Guides n seats as needed. I'm impressed with their attention to details. I'm not putting junk on ANY truck!!! Lol. Give me your thoughts on the rotating head deal.

She is going with a whole new set of injectors,, CTS with the X4, Both tanks and hopefully the pump,, and all the other goodies a stud job comes with.

I will shoot a video of the tanks and the heads when I get back.

I'd swap em. As long as the other customer isn't paying more.
It's not like you're tracking serial numbers and such

Great work Anthony!

Are the heads you are referring to extra heads you have? If so, go for it!

If they belong to another customer I would contact the other customer and get them to approve the swap. Under the circumstances I bet they would be OK with it. Just my .02.

As usual your work is above par, about the fuel tanks there is not a gas tank renew shop by you to redo the tanks? The process is kinda like put a linex coating in the tank and is warranted for life. They do my boat tanks in a day.

Yeah,,, I think I am going to just buy the guides n seats n seals on all of them,, and each customer will be responsible for the $345 per head to recondition them. The parts cost is minimal compared to the down time of waiting for each customers head to be worked. It's a two day turnaround. The first day they are disassembled,, then an overnight soak then steam clean. Then machining happens the next day with a quick bath and steam to remove shavings. But on this job,,, It's Friday,,, and Xmas is coming quick!! I wouldn't have her heads back until Tuesday. Holidays and weekends are nice,,, but not very convenient!! Lol. I'm back at the shop with the heads,,, time to get to work!!!

The tanks are from our radiator shop called Midwest Radiator in Kc. They boil them and reconstruct with some kinda coating. They've never had a failure and do exchange.

The heads are mine Shane. I actually have 8 extra heads available. I have been buying "projects". Lol.
