I'm sorry that I was not more specific. The question was aimed at the original post.

My bad!

How many miles? I had conversation with a guy a few years back who had 450K miles on his 7.3. He was in the tire shop putting all new tires on it so he felt confident it would last a while longer, I guess. BTW, he said he was the original owner.

I pound the crap outta mine............but maintain it as well.

240k. When it dies, I'll take a sleeve off.

That is awesome! I knew someone on here had almost half a million...

Are you gonna take a pic then at 500k? If you do, please post it.

That is what I am shooting for and then some....

Maintenance is aways a key component in longevity. I had a work truck that had over 350k and only had injectors replaced. It was run hard but always serviced. But weird things also happens. My daily has 253k and I thought it would go forevever until it spun a rod bearing for some unknown reason. I rebuilt it and now hoping for at least another 250k which should be longer than I'll live.

That's awesome Chris. I'm only at 140k. The rate I'm going I'll never see 400k.

Yea didn't get it until it had 200,000 miles on it, since then daily driver, and part time 1375 mile round trip to get campers from Indiana. Only went 24 times this year and one more planned this weekend.

I've got a 97 with 370k, a 01 with 240k, and one with 121k. Love them all and none of them give any indication that they're tired. Like mentioned before, lack of maintainence and the rust factor are the 2 worst things for these trucks.

I will likely turn 310k on mine this week. When i bought it in 05 it only had 52k. Like others, my intent is to get to 500k+. Now that ive gotten to know this engine, I know i can probably get more. For what its worth, when i was up at BTS this summer, he mentioned that if you took care of your fluids and maintenance, and changed injectors approx every 200k miles, that there was no reason why you couldnt get a million miles of the truck. So far ive still got original injectors, still going, but getting tired, i can feel it, gonna change in springtime. But i love these trucks. Ive spent some money on her, but the only thing that she has forced me to spend is starter, alternator, tires, radiator, etc, ya know, the usual. The rest has all been voluntary..... Keep on truckin...
