I did take it off. It came off the first weekend after I bought it. It came with the truck. And it was 114lbs!!! It's not my style but I'm happy to know they run $600-$1100 for them depending on where you are. I can sell it or trade it for a nice set of step bars so my 5 year old daughter has something to stand on while she pulls the door handle.

 

NAPA carries a product made by "surf city" and it is identical to the ford "king ranch" leather restorer, only 1/2 the price-- works good, smells good too!
