New Shoes and Tires
Ok finally wore out the old tires and spent a few franklins for new wheels and tires, So now the new problem, what flares would look good and cover the new tires. RBP 20X9 and Hankook 325/60/20 AT.
Was looking at the pocket flares that look like they will cover up to 4"
but to go with smooth, texture finish, factory black plastic or painted to match? truck is tuxedo bl
k too many options open to your good ideas

Unless you need flares for your local dot laws, I'd just leave it like that. I've never been a big fan of flares until you get real big with the tires.
Darren32 has a great looking truck so I'd copy him. Trent also has a great looking truck. They both need flares to keep the law off their backs, i think...

I have the same truck & color , only a 2015.
I like the look of yours....What lift did you go with?
I was thinking of adding flares for the look as well as protection when I start modding. Maybe I'll hold off on flares till everything else is done and then decide.
Any more pics of the pocket flares are helpful also ;-)
Thanks

Beautiful truck. I have to agree with the concept of going without flares if you don't need them. Here in Canada, like Darren and Trent say, we have to have flares covering tires if they stick out. I would have them for 2 reasons. 1-legal BS here in the North, 2-they offer a good deal of protection to the body of the truck from road grit, slush, mud, stones, etc. I wouldn't be without them on a truck with any more than stock tires.
If you're primarily a pavement driver and in a fair weather land, I'd say leave the truck as it. Its 100% beautiful now.
