I traded in my 2001 7.3 a few years ago and have always been looking for another. I have bought and sold a few cars from insurance auctions and just came across this one.

Since this is the best place to get information from guys (and gals) that know more about these trucks than anyone I figured I would ask here.

What do you think? It says it starts but doesn't run. I can see a K&N intake tube so maybe it is chipped and the transmission is shot?

The front end damage does not scare me but maybe there is damage to the undercarriage. Although I had ran over a lot of stuff in my 7.3 and never messed anything up too bad.

 

I say not to pay more than 3000 the body is beat up and the engine may be dusted.

 

i say..no one wants to repair these rides, or any in that matter, anymore. Easier to write ur off and slap a salvage sticker on it...Total "repair" bill came out more then what the b.b. says its worth. And for the intake, its the FIPK kit, so i wouldnt frown on it. I'd buy it!

It doesn't say it does not run but there would be a "Starts" or "Runs and Drives" tag on it if it did.

Someone paid over $3k for it because I was out bid and now it is gone. Darn
