I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY MY 1972 F100.. HAS ITS STEERING WHEEL/COLUMN ANGLED TOWARDS THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR? IT IS STILL LEFT HAND DRIVE AND IN STANDARD ORIGINAL CONDITION......WAS THIS DONE FROM THE FACTORY...I AM USED TO DRIVING AUSSIE TRUCKS AND THEY ARE STRAIGHTER...ANY ADVICE?

They were made that way to a degree. Steer with the left and shift with the right. Someone might have made it worse for some reason. Like a bad l/f cab mount. Post pics so we can see if yours is worse than it was built with.

Like Jefffafa says it could be a bad cab mount. A tell tale sign would be an increasing gap from top to bottom between the door and front fender. Also look at the rag joint between the column and the steering box.
