Instructions for double din head unit install for 2011?

I have a 2011 Ford XLT. Are there instructions or a guide on how to install a double din head unit? I tried search but didnt come up with anything.

Crutch field was the place I went to get the adaptor, wire harness and instructions for my 03 double din install.

Not a whole lot to it.

I've had about 5 different ones in and out of my 2012.

Was looking into a double din with gps is there any out there besides kenwood that are good and wont break the bank. ?

The problem is Kenwood is the only brand using Garmin for the navigation. There are other good units out there, but nothing better than the Kenwood/Garmin combo.

This x1000. Real GPS systems use Garmin. One of the things I loved about my 2013 Dodge Dart, Uconnect system uses genuine Garmin maps (with updates available from Garmin).

Thats what if figured. Since pioneer and jensen and a few others are a few hundred cheaper

i just picked up a generic android based 7" screen. Seems like everything i wanted and i love the android system.

Looking forward to the install.

Oh I believe there's a lot of good radios. Its the gps . I dont want a junk one. I should go to a stereo shop and compare some it would be easier even though im sure ill end up with a kenwood
