Hotwrench, I've got all the parts to build a 410 short block, my plan is to top it off with some 330 MD heads and really build some torque!

I'd use 330HD/361/391 heads but those sodium filled 7/16ths exhaust valves are expensive.

If what I think is true, and it isn't always, a 330MD head will be just about the same as a 360/390 head, so there's no reason you should be trying to hard t0o find MD heads. C8AE-H or D2TE-AA 360/390 heads will work just fine, with the right intake.

Well, I've got a couple 330 MD heads in the garage and the intake ports are quite a bit smaller than even the C7AE-A heads! The intake valve is tiny too, but exhaust valve looks about the same as regular FE. I've got a set of C7AE-A heads and I'm sure they'd would work fine, but I really want to build the ultimate stumpuller! I'm looking for peak torque at around 2200. It'll be interesting to see what I wind up with.
