cheapest place to buy suspension lift kit

I'm looking around for a lift kit and I believe that I am going to go with a 4 inch lift so it's not all to high and since I'm vertically challenged... Do you guys think the 4 inch lift is the best way to go? In the future when I have money to buy tires i will get the right size depending on the lift. I've been looking at the rough country lifts since they are the cheapest. Do you guys think I should get the 4 inch or the 6 inch? Do you know the cheapest place I could get the lift whether it's ordering directly from rough country or somewhere else and I could get a discount?

Generally cheapest isn't something I like to associate with major suspension modifications. Makes me a little uneasy. But from what I have seen the Rough Country kit is fairly nice. As for pricing your gonna just have to shop and compare prices.

I just received the 4" kit from rough country, for the money($950 with shipping, $99) it looks like a nice kit. with the 4" lift there are no blocks in the rear, with a 6" there would be 2" block-stay away from block if yoy can. The front has nice coils, the drop brackets are 1/4" thick powder coated brackets, they look nice. The kit comes with the N20 shocks, look ok, black boots for me. If I went 6" I would want extended radius arms, 4" should be ok. But I could add later when I sell both my diesels.
I wanted the Jeff's kit with radius arms, but the kit, shocks, steering stabilizer and shipping I would be around $1600 or so. I had a Rough Country lift in my 95" grand cherokee, it was a nice kit. THe shocks they used to sell with there kits sucked so I put Bilstiens on it. The new shocks should be better.

I am installing the kit starting this weekend, I'll have 16 days off to work on truck, hunt and have fun. I will post in my build thread how it rides.

Think you could post a picture of it here when you install it? I was going to go with the 4 inch from rough country (the $470 one) and it has a 3 inch block. I would go with the one with new leafs in the back but I can't spend $950 right now.. and I already have $360 saved so I'll be with a lift kit soon hopefully... I heard rough country rides like the name but it's a truck and it will be used like a truck and I'm fine with it riding like a truck

You could always add springs later. RC's older shocks rode real rough. Shocks make a big difference on ride. adjustables are great but about $100 apiece(unless you catch a sale)

I'll post pics in my build thread when I start, hopefully this weekend.

Ok thanks. From bds truck springs I think it is you can get a 10% discount and free shipping.. I'm not to sure about free shipping but I know you get a 10% discount. This is the cheapest I've found so far... anyone know of a cheaper place?

Well sonce pro comp lifts are $950 and a rough country lift is $470... I'm gonna go with the rough country one because I've been saving and working for my money to buy this lift kit. If a $470 lift kit is gonna let me lift my truck and get what I want with my truck and a $950 lift kit is gonna do the same thing but cheaper I'm gonna try the cheaper one. Yes cheaper isn't better but I'm 15 I work for my money and I've read to no end about this and the rough country lift kit is supposed to be just as good.

I went with a Tuff Country EZ-Ride Suspension kit, 2.5” Performance Extended Radius Arms part # 22814KN. It is like Summit Racing TFY-22814KN with the SX8000 shocks. I didn’t get the kit with the rear blocks as I used the 29481 rear springs. I also installed the 20895 traction bars and 65280 steering stabilizer. Crown Performance extended stainless steel brake hoses were added for the extended wheel travel. It takes some work to get it all installed but works well. Tires are 32x11.5x15 Falken WildPeak on 15x8 Ultra 175 Rogue wheels. Tires will just touch the radius arms at full lock but nothing else. I’m thinking of going to 33” tires next time as there looks to be plenty of room for them. All together is wasn't cheap but I like the results and I increased my wheel travel enough that I'm not bottoming it out. Hope this helps.
