SuperNationals F100 Show

Not quite there at the moment. I won't pass up a "deal of the century". There's a 55 mostly original in the Millington area, but he wants $6000 (http://memphis.craigslist.org/cto/4787782224.html). If it had a late model V8 and changed to 12v I might consider it. I'll be in better shape for another truck in a few months. I hate that I missed an F500 in the Jackson area last year. It looked to be in good shape, but I really didn't have a good space for it.

We've got a member in the 48-56 group in Ga, just finished a frame off restoration of a 56 F250, did a really nice job. But he also has a panel and now he is starting on restoring a 74 maverick, so the 56 is up for sale for a VERY reasonable price.

Mitch, according to the info I have Charlie is in charge of the show and Rodney is in charge of the Vendors end of it. I used to like the show, but the last few years kind of turned me off, I'm hoping the move kind of gives some new energy. Of course, I'm planning to set up at the swap meet part this year with a few trucks and parts if my plans all go well.

I agree; miss the way it was a few years back; especially when they host a specific Ford era ride; like Falcon's , Bronco etc. Having it called F100 show and placing any type of Ford in the ranks is off balance to me. But I've support the show for the past 14 plus years; either as a swap vendor or spectator / participate . Will continue as long as the good Lord let's me.....

I loved it when it was Ford trucks only. I didn't mind when other vehicles showed up. Never liked Knoxville. I wished that they at least would corral off all the non trucks in their own area. And while I won't mind the move to Lebanon, if its an all Ford show, just call it that. I just hope an all Ford truck show will make a comeback. I'm really trying to get to the Townsend show. That show has the ability to get that done. And its in what would be a good time of the year.

I was at the Townsend show for the first couple of years and really enjoyed it, but the engine in my truck gave out the week before in 2013 and last year by the time I could make a commitment, there were no rooms left. I haven't seen the dates for this years show, but if it's the same as last years it will be the same weekend as Truckfest, the 1948-1956 FTE Gathering that I am hosting in Tennessee this year.

We had done our 'truckfest' the weekend before it in KY, then last year it was in June in Ohio. I offered to do this years here in TN, and everybody wanted to go back to a Sept. date. We are having it at Fall Creek Falls and that was the only weekend I could get enough cabins and lodge rooms reserved.

Thanks for the info, when I checked their website, the Tally-Ho said they were full, so I called and asked if they had a waiting list for the truck show, I was informed that they actually had rooms they were still holding for the show.
