I have an Australian assembled 1990 F150. This is equivalent to a USA 1980 to 1986.
The only real difference is the Australian version is Right Hand Drive, A local Ford steering column and steering box has been used. With a mirror image dash panel fitted.
I recently read a post where a later model trucks spindles were fitted.
I have been thinking about replacing rotors and calipers.
So when I do this maybe it would be better to update spindles, rotors and calipers to a later model with a more efficient system. (Bigger and better).
Questions,
1/. Which later model spindles will bolt directly onto the 1980 to 1986 truck.
2/. Is the whole assembly, spindles,rotors.calipers etc.Interchangeable .
3/. If so ,which year would you suggest for the best improvement / fit.
