Nice looking Ex! As for lifts, I have been very happy with my all spring BDS lift. My 35's fit perfectly under it!

Welcome to the family!
Nice looking EX, is that green or black? Mine is Aspen Green and it can look black in certain lighting, I have the same XLT trim also.
What is your planned usage for the new buggy? Daily driver, family wagon, some off-road or towing? Some lift solutions may work better for different uses. I tow a heavy travel trailer and went with EOM X code front springs (from a snow plow prepped F-350, with an extra leaf added) and a set of F-350 B codes on the rear (these too were modded with 2 extra leaves, taller blocks and some spacers). This spring swap netted me 3 7/8" lift up front and 4 1/2+" in the rear, I run 35.28" tall tires with only minimal rub on the front springs at full steering lock with '04 SD 18" rims.
Here's mine, you can see the strong family resemblance!

It's green, not sure what the name of the color is.
I bought it to tow my 08 Bullitt to HPDE's there are 2 tracks that are less than 2 hours away and 2 that are an overnight trip. When I go to the overnight tracks (2 times a year - VIR and Roebling) I will tow the car. I will also drive it to work when the weather is bad and for Home Depot hauling.
I am thinking out getting the Rough Country lift because the BDS is too expensive, the Zone lift looks like the front lift is more like blocks than actual springs, and I still haven't figured out what exactly is involved with the V/C/B/whatever code springs or where I can get the parts locally. I read one thread about it but still didn't get everything.
Just bought the Bullitt yesterday and the Excursion on Wednesday.

Looks good. Kudos on the low mileage too. I bought my 02 a month or so ago with 120K+ on it and thought that was good. Lots to read here, I got to bed every night with tired eyes. Lot of Ex owners on here know a lot about these trucks and can really help out, more knowledgeable than Ford. A little lift and tires makes these trucks look awesome. I wish this forum had a photo gallery you could go to and look at everyone's Ex's on here, and it might, still learning to navigate through the forum too! Good luck

Nice ride. You'll be pouring money and time in it soon enough.
The Excursion is truly a land yacht. It is a hole in the road you pour money in.
Kennesaw, eh? I grew up in Acworth back in the 60's. Went to school in Marietta. Mother drove us through Kennesaw every day going to school. Ah, the memories.

I recommend you give contact Cary Towery at CT Performance (ctperformanceinc@yahoo.com). I had an all spring lift on my 2000 with 7.3 and didn't like it, I spoke to Cary, he recommended Ford part numbers so I ordered a replacement springs OEM from Ford and picked up some other parts form Cary as his price was right. Then found a 2002 with 7.3 so I installed the CT Performance recommended lift on the 2002. The Ex drives, rides and tows much better.
