Raymor train wreck
the Company i work for does the cleanup for the rail company
here are photos i took yesterday at the derailment.
We did an average cost of $50000 per vehicle times 212= $10,600,000
First pic is a jag worth $150000
Full of bimmers and dodges
Also a pic of a $90000 F350 king ranch

They have been told to cut up every car including the rims. nothing can be sold or reused. i wanted to take a nav out of the king ranch but was told that if i removed one bolt that the company i work for would be kicked off site and charges laid by the police. they have full time security around the vehicles at all times.

It's kind of sad to think all those vehicles will be destroyed. I think in 2008 Mazda shredded 4,700 vehicles due to the Cougar Ace debacle and 90% of those cars were in perfect condition. The salvage value must be really high in cases like this but than again the liability is also probably high.
