do I really need an alignment after uca replacement?
And if so, why exactly??
I just had my left uca and all tie rods replaced last week due to wear.
Now the left side steering if great!! Super tight and responsive.
The right side is now noticeably loose, as a goose...
the only difference between the work was the right uca wasn't replaced.
So im thinking the right uca would even out the steering feel. Ive got no issue putting in a moog myself, I was just wondering if since the truck just had an alignment, and im not touching the tie rods, why would it need another??
Can I just put it in and go?
If it does in fact need an alignment, can I wait a week or so w/o major issue?
If it does need an alignment, what measure would be off: toe, camber, caster??
Thanks all

Your UCA's have a cam bolts on them. Which will adjust caster and camber. So if said person changed out your UCA and marked where the cams were on the bolts, then things should be relatively ok. If he did not mark them and just put them on how ever, then yes you would probably need an alignment, or atleast an alignment check to see how your truck sits.
