Hey guys new to the forums, on thanksgiving I was hit head one with my 2011 6.7 with my plow on it. Long story short trucks in shop and their going to straighten the frame. Anyone on here have that happen to them and kept the truck? I was thinking of trading in for a 6.2 gasser but not sure if I'll be happy with power and mpg.

 

I slid into an intersection and hit a crew cab in a new 97 F 150. Bent the front frame horns on the F150 90 degrees and kinked the frame between the cab and the bed. Insurance company put a new frame under it. Never had any problems with it. To this day I don't know why they didn't total it

 

Happened to me when I wrecked my '01 back in January 2009. The front tow hooks (which are part of the frame) were a little tweaked, but they were able to straighten the frame and I haven't had a problem since.

 

You have nothing to worry about. They've been straightening frames for many years, and there's nothing wrong with that sort of repair.
