how did I miss that? That's a good deal! The e99 spider would be good property too.good rods, good thick casting block too. I should just give you this engine since I guess I won't ever do anything to my trash but gather parts to gather dust..getting very discouraged here..very very discouraged :-(
I was at the in laws in Tennessee this weekend and was relegated to phone only operation lol.

I dream about building one but doubt I would ever get around to it. Besides, I have a spare in the Mule, LOL! I'm just guessing but I bet you would have to pull it to have it.

PMRs are still good to 425hp.

Besides, you can find factory forged rods typically for $50 for a set

That is a good find! I will give him a call. I'd sure like to grab the trans with it two too for the 12v swap on the gasser. Hopefully he still has it. Might have to make a trip to phoenix... If he has it pulled already that would be even better.

Thank you guys for the help. I was confused by the earlier posts as I thought there was another Nick in this thread and got a bit confused. Not sure how you guys find em! You have a lot better luck than myself. I found a 94 CCLB that had been rolled locally...unfortunately it was an IDI... I was about ready to head down with a trailer this past weekend :-(

Here's a scenario. Wire the money to the guys on the east coast for a couple motors. Have them bring them to RRE in July. Meet up with the whole clan there, take the motors home, keep one and sell the other one to pay for the trip.

Everybody wins, the angels sing, and the unicorns frolic in the meadows.

Yeah that black 2002 dually. He was wanting 2000 for the motor. I saw your other PM just now and contacted that fellow in hopes he could crate and ship. I'm curious what it will cost to get it here though... might not be worth the hassle.

Yep. Riff Raff East. Held at the KOA campground in Newport TN July 16-18 this year. It turns into a swap meet of sorts as well. Lots to do, lots to see, lots to eat and a generally good time to sit around and BS with the PSD Brethren.
