The front-end place put the top-of-the-line version of Gabriel shocks in Stinky. A few weeks later, one is leaking and needs to be replaced - and it is done. A few months later, my tires are meatballs with cupping.
Fast-forward to now - new tires are in, early tire wear is showing because of alignment, and I don't trust the shocks. I'm getting Bilsteins, but I need to know if I'm getting the right ones:
Bilstein 33-028187 for the front and 33-185347 for the rear. What say you?

Shock Warehouse.
Bilstein - KYB - Rancho - Monroe - Edelbrock Automotive Truck Shocks and Struts - Shockwarehouse.com
I'd say the ones you picked out should be fine.

Unless you have F350 rear blocks they will be too long.

I put the picture back in... sorry. I added another one for more detail. Looking at the degree of twist on the shock mounts, I wonder if something hasn't already gone wrong in the back with all of the messing with the rear.
I think I found the right set of shocks [ ], but I question that price.

I got a stonking internet deal on the yellow Bilsteins a couple years ago, loved the ride! But they degraded quickly and I could not stand it after about 20k. Maybe they were knockoffs, maybe the real deal, I dunno. Assuming they were real I can't recommend them. Rancho adjustables now, like them a lot but less than 5k on them.
Had good results with Monroe Sensa-Tracs on other vehicles, FWIW.
