Vehicle parked for 7 months question

Vehicle parked for 7 months question
What is the collective agreement on leaving a 2003 F350 parked for 7 months?
Should I just undo one side of the battery, or would that screw up the computer or anything else that might get messed up?
Anything special I should do before I leave or when I start it back up again?
I now lots of farm equipment gets parked for long period of time but maybe they are made for it. Where a vehicle isn't.
Your thought please!

Here's what I woud do...
*Fill fuel tank
*double dose of>
PRI-G in fuel if gasoline
PRI-D in fuel if diesel
*Change oil and filter
*Check antifreeze/change if needed
*Tires to maximum capacity
*CTEK Battery Charger/Maintainer(will not overcharge or boil battery dry)(*7002 recommended)
*Some folks put peppermint essence oil(on cotton *****)or dryer sheets under hood to keep out rodents.(do not get essence oil on paint)
*Dryer sheets on interior to keep out bugs and rodents
*Small bucket of Silica Gel on the interior to prevent any moisture(keeps mold and mildew at bay)
*Block windshield from sunlight or park truck facing north(if back of seat is in sun, drape a sheet/blanket over it. (Cover whole vehicle or park under shelter would be best)
*Put a wad of steel wool just inside of exaust pipe(yes, I've removed rats nest from exaust systems)
Upon putting vehicle back in service, check all fluids, warm up well, then lightly hold brake pedal while rolling to remove surface rust from braking surfaces.
Enjoy!

Good advice.
One method to keep out rodents in the south west is to use a 6 inch block of wood and bungee cord to allow daylight under the hood to discourage the rodents from nesting.

I've prepared vehicles and coaches for storage that cost more a year to maintain than your whole truck plus mods cost.
Let the battery go flat in one of the newer BMW's or certain model Honda's and it will require a very expensive trip to the dealer to get it going again.
LOL...we wont mention pointless mods.

Laugh all you want to, it pays very well.

Of course everybody can do what they want, at least if I don't have to pay for it. Hm.
However, take a look at these forums and note how many have charging system troubles. It can get expensive. One way to avoid that is always and only install fully charged, serviceable batteries, connected to clean tight low resistance connections. It pays to do this. If batteries had see-through clear cases instead of black plastic it would save a lot of alternators. Put your hand on the alternator case after running it a while with a bad battery. They are not designed for this.
