Firewall question
What ARE the threaded holes and round thingies for on my 1952 F-1? And how do I make my picture smaller?

Those are where the throttle bell crank mounts if I am seeing the picture correctly.

The picture size is just fine, but we need a picture with you standing farther back now so that we can get oriented to the location.

Ray was typing at the same time as me. I'd say he's right. About the right spacing.

I was bent over under the dash when I took the picture.
The holes and thingies are just to the right of the gas pedal and above the transmission cover.
These are inside the cab.

It's where the throttle linkage is retained on the engine side of the firewall. The cups seen here serve as a retainer for the firewall insulator.

There's two sets of holes on a 52. The uppers in your pic are for your V8, the lower set of captive nuts are for the OHV6 215 engine's accelerator linkage that was new for 52. Stu
