What did you drive before your 6.7?

Guess I'll start this thread up, give us a little something to do. I've been a fan of black vehicles for as long as I can remember. I've considered myself a "tuner/gearhead" since my college days, so it was all cars before my truck.

My most recent ride:

So what'd y'all drive before your trucks?

2005 2500 dodge cc 4x4 with the 5.9L cummins. I'd still be driving it if it would have went more than 3 months without a major component breaking. My wife loathed that truck.

2002 Ford Excursion with the tried and true 7.3 Powerstroke. Served me well for 10 years and 185,000 miles. Saved my family twice from drunk drivers on the freeway!
Not a scratch on my family, one of the drunks died and the other was in a coma for a month. One in a stolen car, one in her parents car, her 3rd DUII.....

Carwise, tons of things. We are always buying and selling something. However, the truck before the truck was a 2009 F250 with the V10. I still think it was prettier than my plain ol' silver 6.7. The color combo was an 2009 only deal. Royal Red - Black two tone...

Mostly Ram Duallys since 87, up until the wife talked me into a car with a bed and I bought an '11 F150 with Eco boost... that didn't last long and I went back to diesel with the '12 F250 In hindsight I should have followed my gut and gone back to a dually too.. Oh well... maybe next time..

2005 F-250 with the 6.0 diesel. One hell of a machine if I could have kept turbos in it. Now driving either a 2015 F-350 Platinum, the 2007 Road King or the 1969 Mach 1 428 CJ. Original owner

I don't have any pics, my daily driver/local car is a Smart Car.

Wife drives the kids around in a 2008 expedition, has 110,000 miles and only been in the shop for new spark plugs and a belt pulley/tensioner. I like the 5.3 a lot.

I had a 2011 F250 6.7, a 2008 F250 6.4, 2001 silverado 3500 dmax, 1998 silverado 2500 8.1 gasser.

The Chevy 8.1/Alison combo was really great at the time. The dmax sucked a@&, 6.4 was truly refreshing, 6.7 is just the bees knees.

The smart car is fun, it's the convertible and gets 35-40mpg.

Best car I ever owned was a 1991 BMW 325i. 5sp manual and 2.5L I-6 motor was silky smooth and a torque monster. I put 250,000 on that car and cried the day I sold it. It was showroom clean when I sold it except for some wear on the cloth seat. I may get one of these cars again one day and rebuild it. Remarkable car and has zero similarity to what bmw makes now.
