3500 for a 'low mile' truck with quite a bit of rust and over 100K miles.

Iv'e been subscribed to this thread for a while now. I have to say that it is VERY entertaining to say the least. But I have to make mention that the thread is for CRAIG'S LIST WORST DEALS. I have seen some real doozys here but some of the stuff posted is rather nice. I'm wondering if it's me or do any of you agree with me that some of these posts are definatly NOT Craig's list worst deals.

Since I posted the two immediately before your's, I'm thinking maybe mine aren't what you'd call 'worst'. Maybe not worst ever, but I know I'd never consider $3500 for a rusted F150 a good deal. Perhaps I just lucked out when I found a similar rusty, year, and mileage for $500.

I've noticed that as well. Seems like some have been fairly reasonably priced with a little negotiatio needed

That red F150 is priced right.

The bronco is a little salty but considering it age, it appears to be quite nice

1997 Ford F350 7.3 Powerstroke 4X4 LOW MILES!

XL with New paint, spray painted frame and lots of armor all = $$$$$

Maybe to the right person the low mileage is worth it.

Agreed. Fresh paint and wheel well trim to cover the rust

So obviously this is overpriced, but it also one of the nicest looking F350 CC 4x4 7.3's I've ever seen on craigslist. If money was no object....

Ya, expensive, but if you have priced a similar truck today it is still 1/2-1/3 of what you would pay. And this truck you could actually WORK on if need be.

I'd bet the $27K is just under what he paid for it new.

True, but it wouldn't be a 19 year old truck for $27,000. Can find 10 year old trucks for that price.

I wish the ad was still up
ad read close to this..

92 F100 2wd flareside

No motor or trans.
reg cab 2wd
flare side

That was it with 3 pics. Pics showed decent truck but no grill or front bumper

I called the guy and he said make me an offer. I told him 200.

he got all insulted and said I need $1500

I guess he doesnt realize that the same truck WITH an engine and trans that runs is $1500

He said he had to take it down because if all the "insults" he was getting. LOL

No, not since 82. the Ranger replaced it in 83.

Just proves my point further, he has no clue what he is talking about
