460 - Coolant dripping off of crankshaft pulley

Advice or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I've got a constant coolant drop off of the crankshaft pulley. I've looked around with a flashlight but am unable to see a definite source of the leak. It doesn't drip onto the belt section of the pulley, so no squeaky belt yet. It drips off just prior to belt area of pulley toward the engine.

No coolant being sprayed around in engine bay or underside of hood.

The coolant is coming out of the weep hole on the bottom of the water pump if we can depend on history...

Thanks for speedy reply - That was my initial thought, but I cannot see any issues, including around the aluminum housing.

I may just have to go for the new pump and see if that is it.

I just did a coolant flush about a month ago and then this starts happening right afterwards. Maybe that caused some sort of an issue to accelerate pump leak.

Front seal is likely not a contributing factor?

Thanks for reply,

I'll check that area more in depth tomorrow.

It is the original pump with 97k on it. Pump replacement doesn't look as easy as the last pump I replaced on a 2003 crown Vic p71. That thing was a piece of cake!

Before dropping coin on a new water pump rent a cooling system pressure tester. Pressurize the system with it then look for leaks in a static setting.
