Selling 66 F250, value?
We are selling and building a new house, the less we have to move and store the better. The truck just doesn't get used as it should and would be a great restore project for the right person.
Here is a link to photos of the truck:

What do you guys think it's worth?
P.S. won't let me link insert any photos.

A truck like that on the east coast as long as it is in good running and driving condition and is not rotted out, might bring $2500-$3500 with solid documentation behind it showing it is in near original condition. One member on here recently posted what his costs were to do a nice restoration (almost all his labor) and it was somewhere in the $25,000 range - for parts. A professional restorer posted an incredibly detailed restoration on here that parts and labor were over $100K. In the end its only going to sell for what someone is willing to pay. Start by asking $3500.00 and drop the price till it sells. Good luck.

Nice to see all the interest in your vehicle, but like you said, you may have listed it too low. You can always say it sold, first come first serve, if you want to reconsider. If you don't know much about these trucks, I would have waited for a more substantial critique. Most responses given on this thread were not specific to your vehicle. There is a market for a clean older 3/4 ton, but may take a little longer to sell vs. a shortbed. Your truck looks like a clean low mileage truck. Arm rests were not ripped up, steering wheel had plenty of original paint on it still and interior was very clean. Truck had good original paint and very straight body, always very high on collector want list. Your truck did not have any rust on the front edge of the hood or in the rain gutters, 2 things many trucks of this vintage have. I'm assuming cab is solid and rust free. Has a clean original tailgate also, many are damaged or have been replaced with a newer vintage gate. Was the inside of the bed straight? or wavy and bumpy? A f250 used as a work horse will have a wavy bumpy rusty bed, very expensive to fix, a f250 used as mostly a camper hauler most of its life will have a straight bed. The 300 six and 4 speed is a great combo. The only negatives for me was the aftermarket mirrors, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket ignition switch and excessive amounts of hooks on bed, not a big deal, easy fixes to get back to original. Clean older original paint damage free trucks that are back yard mechanic friendly (no computers) are getting harder and harder to find every passing year. $4500-$5000 for a vehicle like yours that does not need any major repairs ( just cosmetics fixes) is a good deal.
