were stock F1 wheels 16X4 or 4.5?

I have a 52F1 I am missing one wheel but would like perhaps 2. I think I found some 46 ford truck wheels. Question My other F1 has stock hub caps but looking at the wheels the back ones have a little wider lip. Perhaps because it was OK-KS truck? has mud grips out back.
Any trying to find out if 16X4's were the norm or 16X4.5's were and if my other truck with wider ones in the back was a normal thing at dealers. thanks

According to the Shop Manual, the both the 16 x 4.5 and 15 x 5.5 wheels were available on the F1s.

Anything is possible, but it's more likely your rims got swapped out at some point in it's life. 16x4.5 rims were spec'd as standard equipment on the 48-52 F-1 trucks.

These are not the original wheels, as they are "outies" .. the outie hubcaps are from 1951 Ford Passenger Cars.

The Model A in the background also has outie wheels, the hubcaps with the white center were used on 1957 & 1959 Ford Passenger Cars.

All 1948/52 F1's and 1953/64 F100's have "innie" wheels and hubcaps. 1965 was the first year that F100's were available with outie wheels/hubcaps.

Outie = So called because the hubcap snaps onto tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.

Innie = So called because the hubcap snaps onto tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.
