Unsure if glovebox tag is correct
I have a 1959 f100 2wd 3 on the floor(according to the vin). But its a 4 wheel drive 4 on the floor. im thinking the vin plate is wrong the plate says: Vin:f10c9exxxxx

9 = 1959.
E = Mahwah NJ Assembly Plant.
118" Wheelbase.
U = Meadow Green.
F18C = F100 4WD, 5,600 lbs. GVWR
26H = Assembled August (H) 26, 1959.
A = Ford 3 Speed Manual Transmission (Note: F = Warner T-98 4 Speed Manual Transmission).
02A: 02 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.89-1 / No Limited Slip / 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity // A = Spicer 44 Front Driving Axle / 3.92-1 / 3,000 lbs. Front Axle Capacity.

1959 & 1960 F10 series code refers to both 2WD & 4WD. Only the MODEL code defines 2WD from 4WD
Your MODEL code is F18C = F100 4WD, 5,600 lbs. GVWR / If it was F100 or F10C = F100 2WD, 5,000 lbs. GVWR
