Unsure if glovebox tag is correct

I have a 1959 f100 2wd 3 on the floor(according to the vin). But its a 4 wheel drive 4 on the floor. im thinking the vin plate is wrong the plate says: Vin:f10c9exxxxx
wb:118
color:U
Model: F18c
Date:26h
trans: A
Axle:02A

Any help with figuring this out would be greatly appreciated

3 on the floor is an aftermarket conversion, last year it was available was 1952.

But it's a 4 wheel drive, 4 on the floor / VIN: F10C9Exxxxx

WB: 118 / Color: U / Model: F18C / Date: 26H / Trans: A / Axle: 02A / Max GVW: 05600
F10 = F100.

C = 292 2V

9 = 1959.

E = Mahwah NJ Assembly Plant.

118" Wheelbase.

U = Meadow Green.

F18C = F100 4WD, 5,600 lbs. GVWR

26H = Assembled August (H) 26, 1959.

A = Ford 3 Speed Manual Transmission (Note: F = Warner T-98 4 Speed Manual Transmission).

02A: 02 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.89-1 / No Limited Slip / 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity // A = Spicer 44 Front Driving Axle / 3.92-1 / 3,000 lbs. Front Axle Capacity.

5,600 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

In post 1, you said 3 on the floor.
VIN Series code F11 = 1961/76 F100 4WD

1959 & 1960 F10 series code refers to both 2WD & 4WD. Only the MODEL code defines 2WD from 4WD

Your MODEL code is F18C = F100 4WD, 5,600 lbs. GVWR / If it was F100 or F10C = F100 2WD, 5,000 lbs. GVWR
