9.75 X 16.5 CS wheels clearance ?
i have my 6/77 F-250 4X4 im building and really want a set of the camper special wider wheels for my truck. has anybody put them on a 4X4 truck and had clearance issues with the HD dual piston calipers rubbing/hitting the inside of the wheels ?
i also want to put 35's on it but i think i'll need to put a 1.5" block under the leaf spring pad for clearance up front. has anybody put 35's on a lowboy type F-250 without lifting it ?

I can already tell you that you're not going to get any support on adding blocks to lift the front of your lowboy. It's not safe. There should be no clearance issues with those wheels (added width is to the outside I believe), but I doubt you'll clear 35's with no lift. There's a couple different ways to safely add lift to the front of one of these trucks...lift kit, super duty or highboy springs, and add-a-leafs (a search will yield a ton of info).

the camper special wheels will fit no problems. why you want them i understand. remember they are 16.5s and its getting hard to find tires in that size. as for blocks up front its one of the most unsafe things a person can do to any truck. spend the money time to do it right. youll thank us later when your axle walks out from under your truck. i have seen it happen. its not a pretty sight.

Go smart twice, X2 on do not use front blocks or even 1.5" blocks/spacers, I am sure your vehicle insp folks will not pass it, and do not get used highboy front leafs springs. They will more than likely be worn out and its not worth the $ you will save for the work and headache you will get from installing sagging worn out springs.
Get new springs from the get go, for the lift you want, new 4" lift front springs should give you enough for 35's. 4" also means longer front brake lines, a drop pitman arm, adjustable steering link.
As far as the caliper piston clearance issues....other folks can give advice on that.

Champagne taste on a beer wallet . Big jacked up truck, on a hard working mans salary.....it is difficult at times to work it all out.
I hear ya and feel ya on that one, heck we all do.
33x12.50x16.5's...I finally found a new mudder set $750 wow. When mil take offs 36" or 37" tires are out there for anywhere from $50 to $80 in my area.
