So would there be any support in organizing such an event?
If so, would anyone have an idea where would be a good place to hold it (as in, where in the Western Region that would be accessible to most of the regional members)? Would a rotating location that moves within the region each year work better?
Also, would anyone have any ideas about what time of year to hold it?
If we could locate a racetrack, it could also include "run what you brung" style races among members.
If we start talking now, we could have it organized for late next year or early 2016.

 

I highly doubt this thread will get much traffic here, hell this is the first time I've ever looked in this section.

I love the idea and feel Oregon would probably be best as it's the middle state, the real halfway point in terms of mileage should be in Northern California.

It's hard enough to attempt to get the people in a single state together nonetheless the entire west coast.
