After years of research, countless hours on the web, painstakingly reviewing each word, we finally have that $5,000 .... err, mile Excurion for the Apoc family! (Needs some work on the roof, but has the 6oh!).

That looks like the open top EX that used to take folks for beach and dune tours on the Outer Banks NC. I don't see how sawing the roof off a truck would qualify it for a new VIN, sounds fishy to me.

Yeah, someone rolls and Ex upside down once and we get all feisty seeing a new VIN. It's just good recycling, plus make a few $K while at it. No doubt someone will buy it, but not visit us here to show off.
Hmm, I heard after rolling a 6.0 the coolant and casting sand gets flushed?

No. Ford stopped using the traditional "green" coolant prior to the 6.0L PSD engine being put in any Ford rig. The 6.0L was introduced during the '03 model year run.
All 6.0's came with the Ford Gold coolant which is a hybrid OAT coolant.
It's not as critical for a gas engine as it is for a diesel engine, but the Ford Gold is better than the traditional "green" coolant, and a Heavy Duty ELC is even better yet for the diesel.
