I might go back there tomorrow for the hood emblems so I'll take a look at the door.
The shipping cost would probably not make it worth it though.
I'll take a pic of the hydro hoses etc. so you folks could positively identify what this truck is.

The cost of the shipping would be worth the saved hassle as long as it is rust and dent free. I just want the thing fixed.

Post more info/detail on the PS since that guy is questioning your observation.

Doors are all over the place surprised your still having trouble finding one. If I knew you were in PA I could of set you up with any part you wanted almost. The door won't be to expensive to ship I think I paid 90 for shipping on my Unibody door. So if you can get one from CA for a good price then add shipping and it won't be as much as you think.

if you have one available i would not be opposed to making another trip. i just really want to get this thing fixed. I'm actually heading back that way on the 21st to see family in connecticut. i have found a few on CL but most people don't want to be bothered with the shipping process. i just was in butler PA and the guy wasn't home and would not answer so i drove all the way back.

I don't have an extra door but I know a guy that has lots of parts I think he has a good door or atleast way more easily repairable then yours. I'm heading back there around the same time. I can pick one up for you if he has any or give you his contact info and you can if it's easier that way. PM me if you want

the impossible has happened. i brought home a nearly perfect f250 door. found a guy on the other side of the state with many many parts including an entire f100 truck with a solid body. he transports full vehicles and parts from down south. my door came from arizona and has been in his shop since march of 2000.

It's not very well known but for large items Greyhound used to be an option at a decent price. Something to consider. Maybe they don't do that anymore.

That's what I use to ship doors, never paid more than $60. Boxing them up is the worst part. It takes an hour to box one right.

Not to re-hijack the thread again, but I need a driver side door and fender also. I'm in Denver and have been searching for 3 years with no luck. If anyone does come across them for 'a dime a dozen'....I'll give you 2 dimes, just doubled your money for you!!! Seriously though. Anyone who reads this that knows where I can find drivers door and front fender in really good condition, I'd love to know!! Thanks! Nick
