just bought a '01 250SD XLT crew. The inside rear view mirror has a compass in the upper right built-in. On the bottom is a slide switch with " Off M C/M " positions. I get a compass in the C/M position. And I can understand Off, but what is M position? And what does C/M stand for?

I have the book, but it isn't in there with the compass in mirror - the page 20 info is for the overhead console. It looks like a factory item.
