Here are my thoughts:
Looking for a Bullnose for my daughter as a daily driver.
These are the local ones;
1981 F150Ranger 351 auto 2wd TRADE Good but tranny problems. may not be an 81. The grille isn't and the door locks aren't. But if it is an 81 it will be a 351M and the AOD won't bolt up. And if it is a later one with a 351W the AOD may not last long.
84 Ford F150 Our favorite. My favorite as well. Good looking truck and being driven daily it is likely to have no serious problems.
1984 F150 2nd choice. i like this one as well. The manual will give better MPG than the auto. It is probably an NP435, which is stout, but might be one of the OD 4-speeds, which would give even better MPG but aren't as strong.
1986 Ford Lariat XLT Extremely nice but WAY high. Waaaaay too high. But a nice truck.
1980 Ford truck for sale Rough. Shouldn't be a 351W but a 351M. And it looks like one as well. In stock form they weren't very powerful - but can be made to run well. However, it would be low on my list.
Ford f350 Dually but rusty. Doubt it is really a 351M. Given the grille and hood it is probably a 351W. In any event, I would expect it to cost a lot more than $400 or $500 to bring up to snuff.
89 F-250 4x4 4wd. Yuk!

I may not know much, But I know Flaresides! Since your "favorite" has a 90's bed and the rest of the truck has been painted to match, Look really close at the frame, usually the rear shock upper mounts rot right off. and look around the spring perches. If the original bed "rotted off" the rear of the frame may be compromised.
Open the doors and look closely at the underside. there should be a crisp seam where the outer skin wraps around the inner panel. If it is not there....Bondo!
Might be good to take a magnet with you too for checking for plastic.
Look at the cab corners from inside, check the bottom of the core support, if possible peel up carpet and observe the floor.
Start it up and look at exhaust, clear? blue? black?
funny noises from engine? tranny at idle? running down road?
Do this with any truck you pick.....
Be aware the rear fenders are fiberglass (from the factory)
Just completely re-built my Flareside bed.
Personally, It's not a true Flareside unless the brake lights hang off the sides and it has tailgate chains!
