Hello all,

I know it is not February 2015 yet, but it is not too far off, so I thought I would get the ball rolling on the annual Nor Cal/So Cal get together at Pismo beach. It is slated for the 7th and 8th of February which is the weekend after the Super Bowl weekend. Everyone is welcome to attend. I know it is quite a distance for some of us as we are scattered all over Northern California, however, if you can make it you will have a great time. I have been to every one of them since the beginning, and always enjoyed it. With that being said, it looks like I will miss this one unless something changes dramatically for the good, for me in the upcoming months.

Tentatively, I'm absolutely down for this! The only glitch I can foresee is Renee might be having a procedure done on her knee just before this weekend since she's having tons of problems with her partial knee replacement surgery.

Pismo is a blast.

You won't be seeing any of that at the next Pismo trip unless I win the lotto before then! And if I did, I will show up in a Raptor. (Maybe I will rent a U-Haul pickup.)

Checked the U-Haul website, and it will cost me $300 to rent a pickup for 3 days and that does not include the gas. So it looks like I will miss this next GTG unless I can get a job between now and then, or a miracle happens and my disability claim is approved.

Cmon Jim you can rent a car instead from budget or the like. Try out a smart car. If you get stuck just hop out and lift it up, That would be awesome to see

 

LOL, I doubt I would even fit into a smart car. However, if I have a job by then I'll rent a Ford truck somewhere.
