Sorry, I wasn't trying to be snarky, but in the face of all the predictions about your van, it looks like you got what you paid for. It was me who recommended you work with the Chevy truck you had--good luck with getting the title correct.

As I said, I figure any used vehicle worth a crap is gonna be $5k or more these days. And a 25 year old vehicle qualifies for antique license plates in Michigan--it is not something that I would ever suggest as a daily driver. I bought my first computer, with a 286 12 mhz CPU and 40 mb hard drive, 25 years ago. Since then I've been modding and building boxes.

Another suggestion for the future is that you really do NOT want a diesel vehicle unless you are going to be towing BIG and have a huge budget for maintenance and catastrophic repairs or plan to buy new and under warranty. If a minivan will work, get one of those. I am smitten with the Ram C/V but it's a recent offering so there won't be cheap used ones for a while. Maybe a Transit Connect? These are manly work trucks that won't cost an arm and a leg.

Happy Holidays to ya,
George
