Ow, that sucks.

I'm guessing there is some serious Rx that goes along with that?

Yeah, the surgeons have a twisted view of what's good. The Doc that worked on my hand bragged about how well it turned out.

You need to get a copy of the post-op xrays and show the guys. I'd say it's a good picture, and they would probably love that. I wish you guys could see what big massive unbelievably nice tool boxes with an unlimited amount of screws, plates, rods, etc. are in orthopedic operating rooms. Almost always, they're Craftsman toolboxes. I got laughed at in medical school once because I wouldn't stop staring at the tool boxes.

Yes the x rays today were great with plates and bolts and looked like 3" long wood screws in my ankle (2 screws)

Darn Dude, you weren't fooling around, you really messed it up. Thank goodness we live in this day and age, 150 years ago you would be up the creak. I hope your not in to much pain and heal quickly.

Did they use a pair of hog-ring pliers to stitch that up?

Hope you get back on your feet soon. Tom

Wow, you have a nice variety of colors there. Are there any that would make a good truck color?
Keep taking care of it so you recover as fast as possible.

I saw only the first picture and I thought, "That's not too bad... only 2 staples, some swelling and some discoloration." Then I scrolled down and I saw the RR Tracks on your leg. Wow! But you are over the hump and on the road to recovery!
