Gosh, I wonder why mine seem to work fine on my 53? Seat position? I have no complaints about mine and I know for a fact they are better than peep mirrors. I have used the convex mirrors on the passenger side of several of my 40's but like the Fatties better.

 

Just for the record ,those peep mirrors are just what they imply! You can only see a peep of things!!! They look cool but suck!
