New 6.2 F250

Just wanted to say hi, I have read all the postings from others (great help) to get a feel for the 6.2, this is the best site for info, and just bought my 2015 F250 6.2 crew 4x4. xlt, 3.73's, camper package and 5th wheel plate from Ford. After maxing out any payload on the 150's I was building, I quit beating my head on the wall and came to what was right in front of me, F250 dah.
Impressions so far, simular power band of my old 2012 F150 5.0, just more consistant, everyone is correct, locking out 6th in the hills stops the gear hunting. In town, it remains in 5th at 40mph, never wants to go into 6th, which is good. 11.9-15.9 so far, cold weather warm up does not help.
5th wheel or pull type camper next year is in our future.
Thanks to all, well done.

Congrats on the new truck - I traded in my '08 F250 Diesel back in October for a 2015 F350 6.2 and I love it as well. I needed a bit more payload to carry the new truck camper I bought in the spring so that's the main reason I did it. When I bought the '08, I test drove an F250 5.4 gas and thought my 4.0 Ranger had more pulling power. That's why I bought the diesel - I was pleasantly surprised when I test drove the 6.2. Enjoy the new truck!

Welcome to FTE. That's a sharp looking truck. I picked up my 2015 6.2 two weeks ago and I have been enjoying it so far. I ordered mine in the Blue Jeans Metallic, but the Magnetic that you chose was one of my other favorite colors.

Nice truck. Just got mine before Christmas. It could be a twin to yours. So far I love it. Added a boss v-plow. Works great. Don't know how to send pictures yet, but I'm working on it.

Nice looking gray 6.2 gassers in this thread.

I just picked up a 2011 cc F-250 yesterday with the 6.2.

Love that color.
My '04 Dually V-10 is the same color.
