Bought a lund visor!

Ended up getting a lund visor for 40$! I always see mixed thoughts about them but I think they look really cool on the Ford brick noses. I've never installed one so I wanted to see what anyone that has installed one has to say. I've read that you need to use sealant around the hole that will be drilled and basically in the holes to prevent leaking. Anything else that I should be aware of?

Installed a couple before. Take your time pre drilling holes and measure everything 3 times. If you don't instal it just right and it doesn't sit solid, it will eventually wear and weaken the holes and the only real option is welding them up. I learned this the hard way.

X3 on measure 3 times drill once.
Use stainless steel hardware.
Use plenty of sealant, on both sides of the hdwr.
Because those visors can be a rust magnet for the A pillar and fwd cab door hinge area...
