Wheels/Rims hub centric to bolt centric??

Hi all, my uncle has a 71' camper special with 16.5" wheels. We found some stock alum wheels, 16"x7" off a 95' or 96' f250. Will these work? Or are the newer trucks hub centric and these wheels won't work with tapered lug nuts?

Thanks in advance

Bolt patterns are the same. As for lug nuts, If the new wheels have tapered holes they will work. If not, then no you'll need different nuts.

Wheels can be used from up to 98 F-250/350 (not 99+ Super Duties) and up to 2013 Econolines.

Cool thanks for info. So econolines kept the older style lug pattern? Sounds odd? Wonder why Ford did this?

8x6.5" is a very common "standard" pattern. It is what almost everything else uses in the world of heavy duty.

Ford still kept the Dana 60 until 2013.
