Believe it or not this was the wife's idea. Guess I'll keep her around, the wife that is...

Way cool. We used my '40 stake truck for last year's card. Here's one of the outtakes

We put the FUN into "DysFUNctional"!

Great pics and cards. The grinches that we are - we have pretty much stopped sending out Christmas cards. We are looking to pick out our tree shortly and will do a pic with that event and the truck - if it ever stops this cold rain we have had for days. bchrismer's family pic isn't an outtake for us - some of the grandkids make it look that way on almost every picture.

Merry Christmas!!

We have used my truck for our Christmas Card since 1997, when our son was 5. We did it every year. Since he wasn't a kid any more we put the whole family in the picture in 2011. And then my truck sat in the garage for two years not running. My truck is running now but we are not sure if we will take a pic for a card... Here are some examples:

1997: before my truck was painted.

2009: Our kid is all grown up, 18 years old.

2011: the whole family.

Great pics, handsome families, beautiful trucks, joyful holidays. If that doesn't give you the warm and fuzzies, your on the wrong web site.

We had some snow on Thursday (Yesterday) and got out to take our picture for the Christmas card for 2014. I kept my hat on so there was not too much glare off my head from the flash!

Because my truck did not run the last 2 years, we did not have a picture of my truck on our Christmas card.,. so this year my wife is getting a card made that says "Continuing the tradition..."

Merry Christmas to all.

Everyone got me thinking and I did at least decorate the truck. It now has bed side boards and I put a wreath on each sideboard. It hasn't been bad enough to have salt put down on the roads yet so I have been able to take it out here before Christmas. Will try to get pictures with the grandkids when they hopefully get in before Christmas.
