I'm in for a disk and even one of your pick-hammers. My late step-dad was a retired auto body instructor for a vocational school and I attended his class during my high school years, I also worked at my uncle's auto restoration shop for several years after my enlistment in the Marine Corps. I learned a lot for my step-dad and my uncle, but I have to say that after being away from doing any kind of body work for over 15 years your thread has really showed me just how much I've forgotten!!
Thank a ton!!! (my F1 thanks you too, LOL!)

Would be interested in the CD in the meantime and also a future workshop.
Thanks for sharing the techniques in this thread. I've always stayed away from true body work as it is such an art form, and just stuck with using extra Bondo. Based on your posts, I'm encouraged to try and learn how to do this.

As in next weekend, the 2-3rd of May? I would be interested in attending a workshop, but am tied up next weekend.

I'm doing this as an intense 2 day hands on workshop with 2 students. I am willing to do one for just 1 student if you are interested. For this one we will do patch forming and welding on day 1, dent removal and metal finishing on day 2, but a workshop can be set up to cover a specific need or interest.
There is some art involved especially when creating complex forms, but I hope to show basic metal shaping and finishing is not difficult even with basic tools, if you have sufficient patience and care, and understand what the metal does when worked. There is no reason to use more than 1/8" of bondo, I prefer to keep it to a 1/16" skim coat.
