hey guys you guys probebly dont recognise me here, im usually on the 73-79 forums, but i was to create a post of my 97 7.3. the bed and cab and front clip are shot, and i have a single cab and a mint shortbed, so im going to do cut down the frame and drivline to fit the shortbed. i dont have pictures now but ill post them later when i come home from work.. should be interesting!

 

don't forget shorter fuel lines, brake lines, small fuel tank, etc

 

yes sir! it has duel tanks too... drivshafts easy to shorten, id figure to double plate the frame each side and also i might have to relocate the bed mounts, which is pretty easy

 

No need to relocate the bed mounts. Just take 16" out of the frame about 4" behind the from bed bolt

 

I'm interested in cutting down a 1989 F350 crew cab frame. Would appreciate any suggestions you've got after getting through your project.
