Do your t-stats have the rubber seal all the way around the edge?

I took my truck in to have them take a look at my cooling system before I do the blend door myself if it comes down to that being the problem. I will update when they get back to me sometime later today. I'm wondering if there could be a trapped air bubble in the coolent system causing this somehow since I just had the radiator replaced a few months back.

If you do have to do the blend door, there is a short cut product that saves you having to take the dash out by going through the back of the glove box with a metal replacement door. Look up Heater Treater.

You can even save your money by purchasing a Dorman blend door replacement that has an adjustable metal sleeve for easier installation. The Dorman blend door is about $25, the heater treater is $119.

I took mine in to have a new flowmaster dual exhaust installed and figured I would have them take a look at the heat issue to tell me what they thought.

Can that go in through the glove box route? If so, then it is a winner winner.

Winner winner, the Heater Treater concept with a cheaper part. That's the problem when you come up with a great idea, someone will always knock it off.

HT was overpriced because it used to be the only alternative to pulling out the entire dash. They might have to rethink that price now.

Without a doubt. Good job on Dorman's part to take advantage of it. Not good news for HT.
