In this picture, what is this part called?

I'm referring to the handle right behind the drivers door to hold onto getting into the truck. I googled for 'short wife bar' but it didn't return any results...

I've had those handles on my '96 since it was a week old. Fun drilling holes in a brand new truck. Anyway, going on 18 years now and no rust, though the front fenders and bed wells are shot.

Oh, and it helps to fill holes with clear silicone before threading into them.

Put grab handles on the inside of the truck.

Handier (unless you are stunt driving) and no rust issues.

I'm just anti anything that even has potential for rust. I'm goofy,glad they didn't rust tho.
My 1925 does not have as much rust as my trucks rad support had..so very sad
