well i,m thinking of getting the wife a dif. truck but with a v-8 or a turbo 6 and a 2014 -or 15 anyone have either one with dif. eng. an no steve she is not getting a f250 or bigger

At CTC I said I was putting a 5.4L Tritom motor with an overdrive transmission in my 1978 F150 4X4.
Well it runs, it sounds real good, and I'm Loving It !

Can't remember what tranny it uses. Did you update the rear too?
