Went to move my friends Jeep under the porch to start working on the front end and noticed this...
I think I found the problem...
The upper control arm bushing are torn all to heck and the lower control arms (replaced a couple of years ago with cheap replacements) are spongy. New Moog parts going in as soon as he brings me the tool to pop the old bushing off the axle.

Dave. Jeeps have track arms too. Better take a close look at it.
Bob. It was really great to spend time with you guys. No sweat on the shirts. I just hope they fit.
I delivered the Cavalier that I painted and got another Cavalier fixed up for inspection. It needed front and rear brakes, oil change, tune up, a headlight assembly, wipers, and an inspection. I pulled the next one so I can start on it tomorrow morning. An oil leak in a Pathfinder. Then I can start painting panels for that Mazda. I hope to have an empty shop again by Monday morning.
Oh, and I spent some time hiking around my secret parts yard. I got a radiator for the '73 and scouted out a new door for the Ranger. He also has a '75 F-100 2wd with an FE and a 4 speed. We're still trying to come to a deal for that one. It's got a really nice body. I guess we'll see what happens there.

Good Morning Everybody!
Chip. You'll "let" him help you wash trucks? You're such a sweetheart!
I'm gonna try out that radiator I got yesterday and see if I can get this '73 to run cool. Ya' know, all I would have to do is check the brakes and adjust the clutch and I could take this truck for a spin! Now, which truck do I register, the '73 or the '78? Decisions, decisions. ....I like these type of problems.

Yessir Alan, I'll let him work in the cold with Melvin, I'll work in the shop, his starter is changed and he's still in bed. Dog is bathed, laundry is running and me n Pandy are watching Pomona qualifying in the shop while cleaning up. I see daylight, time to see how big the pile of bricks is we're gonna get rid of.

Evening All!
I got the oil leak fixed in the Nissan then pulled the '73 back in and put the new radiator in it. I went to fill it up and it looked like a lawn sprinkler. Holes EVERYWHERE. SO, back to the yard again to find another one. We got it out just as it was getting dark, but we got one. Now I get to see if THIS one is any good tomorrow. At least this one is bigger. I REALLY want the truck to be driveable already.
