Morning Jim, Pat, Roy, Shawn and any one who wonders in. Keep that pineapple express rolling, Cali needs the rain, and I dont want the snow. Let's hope it holds on during the whole month of January. Than I for sure will get caught up and go back to normal hours. YEA!!!

Quick question! Has anyone deleted the transmission t-stat and then bypassed the radiator cooler? I would like to go from the trans right to the 6.0 cooler, I have a trans temp gauge, dont want it to run to cold but what can that hurt? I think riff raff has the cooler delete fittings, even though I have a strong trans and a billet converter, while plowing heavy wet snow my trans does go up quite a bit, sometimes I stop and let it cool off alittle. I would like it to run 180 but sometimes she goes past 230 and I dont want to damage the trans at all. Any ideas?

It usually does, the atlantic is to warm so the noreasters tend to dump rain on us and snow in the mountains, upstate NY, Green mountains and the White mountains. I'm sure you will get yours. and I'm fine with that, just need someone to plow my driveway up there.

Good morning Jim Dave and Vermont woodchucks and woodchuck imposters. Don't know anything about disconnecting the transmission cooler. When towing heavy in hot weather I can see 210 but most of the time I stay below 200. My birch is it takes forever to warm up in the winter. Need to go 35-40 miles to reach normal temps.

Keep the rain down south. We don't need it.

I put a 6.0 cooler on my 96. The original wasn't big enough for my life escort. I pulled 11000+lbs couple summers ago mid 70's for ambient. Trans temp might have gotten up to 200. Those6.0 coolers work good. But colder wweather trans temp doesn't come up much.

Good morning Roy. Typical Navy guy, just getting coffe while the rest of the world has gone to work!

Have a good day my friend. Keep that JGG clean. Looks like I might be able to wash the salt off later this week. Glad I do the Fluid Film every spring and fall.
